05/31/03 - TG Personals is now averaging over 3,200 unique visitors a day, more than 100,000 a month. (That's 185,000 hits a day or 5,750,000 hits a month). Most importantly, we just improved the advanced search feature to fulfill your demands for more targeted searches. Now you can limit your search to a given category and subcategory as well as a specific state or nation and age group. Click here to try out this new feature. 01/26/03 - If you have tried emailing us and not gotten a response, the reason is that we simply get too much email to respond to much of it at all. The vast majority contains viruses from internet worms that have infected people's machines and send copies of themselves to everyone in that person's inbox. Since our email address is in tens of thousands of people's inboxes, we get hundreds and hundreds of these viruses every month. On the bright side, we just added a Frequently Asked Questions list, to help answer some of the most common emails we receive and hope that it helps. 03/27/02 - TG Personals has moved to BlueGravity.com web hosting, which seems to be a much better web host than Interland. Thank you for your patience and for sticking with TG Personals despite the hosting problems at Interland. I remain fully committed to the promise of letting you place and respond to ads free of charge, forever. 03/22/02 - TG Personals has had nothing but problems since our web host, Tricreations.com, was taken over by Interland.com several months ago. First, our software started acting up. Then they screwed up the DNS settings and told us to fix them ourselves, which meant the site was down for Valentine's Day. The last straw was when they did something else wrong with our site today, and then fixed it by replacing the entire site with a copy that was over a month old, deleting several hundred new users and personal ads in the process! I apologize for the continued problems, but promise never to use Interland again! 02/08/02 - As you may have noticed, this site has had some problems with our new database software over the past few months. In particular, ads and user profiles were being deleted unexpectedly. To solve this problem, we reinstalled the software on 2/7/02 and used different settings this time, which the manufacturer suggests will clear up these problems. As a result, all ads placed before 2/7/02 were deleted. I apologize for the inconvenience, but these changes had to be made so that we can provide uninterrupted service from now on. This is a free site, created so transgendered men and women would be able to place and respond to personal ads without paying a steep price, or having to use web sites that encourage the strictly anatomical definition of sex and gender.
